A harbinger of things to come
The all-electric Honda Prologue 2024 SUV heralds a new era of electrified Honda vehicles. With versatility and range on a par with our range of rugged SUVs, the adventure-ready Prologue slips effortlessly between everyday life and weekend getaways.
The Prologue's exterior styling represents the clean, simple and timeless values of Honda's global design direction, enhanced by a long wheelbase, shorter overhang and an assured stance enhanced by performance tires. The Prologue was designed at Honda's Los Angeles design studio, in collaboration with a Honda design team in Japan.
The Prologue is Honda's first electric vehicle in Canada, and is the result of a North American strategic plan announced two years ago that includes working with GM to produce EVs more efficiently," said Steve Hui, Vice President of Honda Canada. "The Prologue represents our transition to electrification, with more EVs designed and manufactured by Honda in North America as early as 2026. Our Canadian dealers are eager to see it arrive in their showrooms."
The Triumphant Return of the Honda Civic Hybrid
The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid returns to the market, and will be offered in hatchback and sedan versions; the latter will be assembled in Canada.
The 2025 Civic Hybrid will feature Honda's award-winning two-motor hybrid electric system. This system promises greater responsiveness, a sportier driving feel and improved fuel economy, making it ideal for environmentally conscious drivers.
On the technical front, the new 2025 Civic Hybrid will employ a version of Honda's hybrid system, recently chosen by US magazine Ward's Auto as one of the 10 best powertrains of 2023. In the CR-V Hybrid and Accord Hybrid, it generates 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque, while maintaining an average fuel consumption of 6.4 and 5.3 L/100 km, respectively.
